Posted By Ali Try not to make it too complicated as it is a very large area. I assume you are discounting WBV (whole body vibration) ? I would start by making an inventory of all tools used. Next, determine which of these produce vibrations or have a vibration emission rating (see supplier, HSE Table). For each such identified tool / machine (incl vibration workpieces)determine who the operator is, how long they are exposed, calculate the exposure (Table, Calculator) in m/s/s or using points system and then look at HSE Hierarchy of controls. Lastly write your action plan. You might like to produce a HAV risk assessment. There is a useful HSE initial screening questionnaire that you can make use of to determine who (potentially) has HAVS.
