Posted By Julia R I'm looking for a book, ideally a fairly comprehensive one, to inform me about Health and Safety in a manufacturing/engineering environment. Any suggestions?

Posted By Al.. A good start might be the HSE's "Health and safety in engineering workshops" - HSG 129 - last updated in 2004. It costs nine pounds and 50 pence and I have always felt that it is an excellent example of sector specific health and safety guidance.
