I have lost all my Hard Disc Data through a computor failure.
Thanks to a very helpful PC World the old disc has vanished therefore I cannot recover any Data. I am not looking for freebies just assistance with some helpful Safety Sites where I can get Downloads to assist with Powerpoint presentations. I did have some back up on a memory stick but as I was in the process of changing employers I had put a lot of my safety presentations and contact safety sites on the home crashed computor. Thanks in anticipation!!

You could use a data recovery company. Although the disc shows empty, it is likely to still contain all your files and programs. Erasing the data does not erase the files completly, only the indication that they existed.
Try: www.mjm.co.uk

Do consider taking the HD to a specialist computer company, you would be surprised what can be recovered from an apparant blank HD. I would suggest that you could recover up to 85/90%.
Good Luck, I know what it is like. Lost all my data some years ago, once bitten twice shy so to speak.

Recovering data is all very well if you have the HD, but as alex says in his original posting, PC World have lost it.
