Posted By Phil Also remember the issue of suspension trauma. Dont rely on the emergency services if it all goes pear shaped. With the speed of onset of suspension trauma they may not get to you in time, and may not know what to do if they get there! If you have special circumstances, you need to make special arrangements. "DIAL 999 or 112 IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY" is not a robust control measure, particuarly if you are in a remote location. As a trainer of Doctors, Paramedics and Firefighters in the above subject, I know it to be the case. For more info see www.trauma-resus.com Click on one day courses, and trauma at height. If you need any more info please dont hesitate to contact me regards Phil
