Hi atheobald, Local Authorities have OHU Nurses. They sometimes do work for others but from experience, it's usually only with other LA's.
Good luck finding some assistance with this.

Adele,
I have tried to personal mail you some information off site, but your mail server is sending me a message that your mail address is no longer on their system?
If you would like to contact me through my mail address, I can forward my saved mail to you.
Regards.

Another suggestion- Depending on your needs-have you tried the Occupational Health Department or Medical school of your loval Universities- they may at least be able to point you in the right direction? Otherwise there is the BOHS- via the internet

Try contacting your local NHS Plus organisation. they provide OH services to a range of industries in many areas and might be able to help you. Alternatively there are a number of private OH companies you can buy in to at various levels which can be found through the Occupational Medicine website.
Good luck

If you put POOSH into the search engine in the top right hand corner of this page you will get a list of the organisations in this interprofessional group. There are two OH Nurses organisations on the list (they are hyperlinked). They may be able to help you.

Your local NHS should be able to provide you with the services you need

I forgot to mention in my first posting that here at IOSH HQ we use our local Fire and Rescue Service's Occupational Health service for our staff. They operate on a commercial basis, it may be worth contacting your local service to see if they have similar.
