Posted By Pat Hannaway Hi Susan, I work in a part the Civil Service (2000 employees)where we have a mixture of "office based" employees and substantial numbers of "industrial" operatives. We do not pay / reward First Aiders at all, but have had no difficulty getting volunteers over the years. I have contacts in private organisations who tell me that the average payment in their businesses is usually £150 per year. Regards Pat

Posted By Glyn Atkinson £5 per week - weekly paid staff - equates to £260 per year which is averaged for monthly paid staff - no problems getting the 40 + level of first aiders that are required on four sites.
