Hi I am in the process of putting together a practical training session for accident investigations for our trained investigators and I am looking to see if anyone knows of a good video/dvd sceniro that I can use.
Thanks

I have used Safety Media Ltd "Accident Investigation -the Facts" (video on cd-Rom) successfully in the past. See www.safetymedia.co.uk
Video has a number of typical scenarios, including office, warehouse and retail outlet.

Hi Lesley
I use Safety Media DVD Accident Investigation. Reason is that I can pause where required and use the scene displayed accordingly.
Alternatively if you feel up to the task, you could write an accident scenario and ask some collegues not doing the training to role play and the trainees could then "investigate". This takes a lot of work to organise, but is very entertaining, especially if some of the characters are difficult or argumentative, say a lot/little, in shock, family member of the injured party etc, all that is possible in a real situation.
I have used both methods and prefer the role play, but as I have stated it needs a lot of work, planning and preparation on your part to be fully effective.
I am lucky that some of my friends are into the local dramatics group so they help out with scene writing etc, invaluable....
Hope this helps or gives you some ideas.
