Hello all
We have recently purchased a portocabin workshop for our site. As it is now, it is just an empty shell with extraction ventillation on its way. I have been asked to carry out a risk assessment on the new workshop and i am lookong for any advice and guidance to information that could help me along the way.
Thanks in advance to any help out there
Kevin

Make sure that you look at reinforcing the floor area and that you can fix machinery in place. you will also have height restrictions and need to cover lighting with mesh guarding. Walls are vunerable to damage so care with stacking materials. Doors are often narrow unless you specified double doors for good access with equipment and materials. You will need a ramp/step access. Heating is an issue to look into as it is not an easy task to plumb this in and often pipe work will be exposed and vunerable to damage. Portacabins deterioate over time unless you have a good maintenance program.
