Posted By Farmer There was a recent campaign at a works I visited that asked workforce the old saying Safety champions do it XXXX etc-- this ran as a competition some of the results were printible like in hard hats with peace of mind together safely The results were good as it raised awareness and made work force think about safety leadership Another old one is "talk safety, think the job" another one i used to use for safety inspection Notice, Imagine , Prevent - NIP the hazard in the bud

Posted By John Webster "When anyone asks me how I can best describe my experience in nearly forty years at sea, I merely say, uneventful. Of course there have been Winter gales, and storms and fog and the like. But in all my experience, I have never been in an accident...or any sort worth speaking about. I have seen but one vessel in distress in all my years at sea. I never saw a wreck and have never been wrecked nor was I ever in any predicament that threatened to end in disaster of any sort." Captain Edward John Smith - RMS Titanic

Posted By Brian John Abbs These two need to be delievered in a jokey manner - Really jokey. Alle kunst ist umsonst wenn ein angel in das zundlock prunst (All skill is in vain if an angel P****s in the flintlock of your musket.) Dulce et decorum est, pro vexillum mori (it is right and fitting that you should die for your company) First one gets a laugh, the second gets people sitting up. Especially if they've ever read anything by Owen. I have a word document full of safety related quotes and quips if you want it, email me.
