Posted By MarkJAWatkins Toecap, How about a picture of a boiler room, house, etc. depending on your industry and saying "ok, how many ACM's are there in this picture that you can see?" and once you get the answers you start pointing out the ones they missed. fuses, rope gasket, soffit, undercloak, etc. Pictures of someone stripping an ACM incorrectly, not using RPE, H-Vac, etc. and again ask them to point out what is wrong with the picture. If you can give me an idea of what type of industry you are in I could maybe come up with more. Regards, Mark

Posted By Dave Wilson I should point out that if you intend to deliver any asbestos training you should follow the 'syllabus' as laid out in the new Consultative Document on the new regs as the course content is laid out in there

Posted By Dave Wilson Just been thinking about this and inreality the presentation is all about types / locations / what it looks like / health effects and what to do if you discover it. Remember that it is now a legal requirement that all premises have to have an Asbestos register and management plan in place. The problem with the construction industry and the allied building / maintencae trades is that they have no idea what it looks like and the places where it could be found so initially this has to be done
