Colleagues
Does anyone know of a source of safety posters produced in Polish? We have a group on a site, and although their English is fairly good we feel that it would help to get the message across more positively.
Many thanks

I don't know for any posters but HSE have launched a series of leaflets in Polish available from and downloadable from HSE books. I think there is a general health and safety information leaflet and then more specific titles.

If you can't find a poster, how about asking your employees to develop one?

Hi John,
We use our staff to translate most 'non essential' info and use a translation service for the 'essential' stuff.
No affiliation but try www.workplacetranslation.com or 07748016460 (Paul Gray).
Hope this helps.
Regards
Andy

Many thanks for the replies. I can now move forward: almost certainly use the people on site to develop some, but also find an interpreter for the initial phase.
Once again, many thanks
John

The moral of this posting is ' Dont employ cheap labour' then you wouldnt be in this position where you need HS posters in alternative languages, what next pay slips etc in different languages.
