Does your question relate to the Construction Industry?
A Risk register is often compiled by the estimator/Planner at tender stage and is a register of all risks related to the project, i.e. financial, time available, third party liabilities, penalty clauses etc. as well as health and safety risks.
It allows senior managers to assess the viability of a project.
