Posted By NickW Hi all. ive done a bit of googling but cant as yet find a fire risk assessment qualification that is recognised by a national association.
And also forgive my ignorance but what are the pros and cons between the Fire Prevention Association (FPA) and the Institute of Fire Engineers?
if you could let me know your thoughts and any websites for suggested courses I would be grateful. cheers. Nick

Posted By Ashley Wood The Institution of Fire Engineers is the fire equivalent of IOSH. It is recognised across the world and is without a doubt the fire organisation to be associated with. The IFE is used by the fire services for training, this should tell you something! Look on there web site for courses.
