Hi
We are soon to carry out some work in occupied domestic properties which contain overboarded asbestos cement sheets. We have engaged a licensed asbestos contractor to carry out the necessary were it is likely that asbestos may be disturbed, but we have a query over the need for background monitoring.
Can anyone advise what criteria exists for requiring background monitoring to be carried out during the work?

thx

Steve

There is no requirement as it is Cement, however you may wish to do reassurance air test at the end of the work
