Can anyone tell me if it is illegal to install equipment in the UK without the CE Mark?
The garbled answer I have obtained so far is that it is o.k so long as you have a certificate of conformity. I have not been abled to get a definate answer as to whether manufacturers are obliged to supply this. It has also been suggested that we can issue it ourselves as the 'user' but what that entails exactly nobody seems to know?

The link is slightly wrong; you need to insert a g after the question mark to make the 'o' into 'go'.
