Having spent an enjoyable morning with my nose in the Fire Safety Order, I'm struck by articles 12 and 16 concerning Dangerous Substances.

Do these articles run alongside DSEAR or replace it?

I always thought DSEAR was a bit OTT for having a couple of bottles of white spirit on site, and the RRFSO stance seems more common sense.

If the Fire Safety Order has changed or superceded DSEAR then it will state this at the back of the Order.

Don't think it has changed DSEAR so will run alongside.

With regard to DSEAR and a couple of bottles of white spirit - I think this depends on how much work you think DSEAR requires you to do.
