Irish Legislation (again) and Subscription services

Posted By ian milne I have a tendancy to stay away from these subscription services i.e. tolleys, croners etc believing the best way for me to learn about legislation is to research it myself and also save company's costs.
I now require to subscribe to one (cough!) to keep me informed on the ever changing face of legislation in the UK and ROI (IE).
Can any of you vouch which ones are effective for keeping you up-to-date on UK and Irish legislation? Ian

Posted By Martin Daly All legislation in the Irish Republic is posted on the Attorney Generals Website and can be accessed for nothing.
Goes back to 1922.

Posted By ian milne aye, but it isnt the easiest to navigate and find out what is in place / obsolete, hence need for subscription service (oh the costs). But I will say, the way the legislation is worded in IE / ROI is far better than most of the UK ones that I read...zzzzz. Thanks

Posted By Ted Creedon The Health & Safety Authority website at www.hsa.ie is a good place to start. It is reasonably easy to navigate, has free downloads of most publications / acts / regulations / CoPs / guides and is regularly updated to include new, or changes in, Irish legislation.
