Posted By AJM Just a short one, I am after best practice or other peoples experiences in resolutions of people wearing headsets etc and ear defenders whilst driving a fork lift truck. We have a lot of drivers who being the nature of the environment being noisy that use headsets to contact other departments or ear defenders while driving trucks. This obviously can be a hazard, but I was wondering how other companies or fellow safety professionals have tackled this. Thanks in advance Alan

Posted By Innes Gray Did a search on the site because I was sure I read some thing about deaf FLT driver So this may help you out. This part would cover ear defenders. As for the listing to music ect on there ear phones while at work, the debate about that could get very long and complicated I think. Cut and past link Or if I did it correctly just click on link. http://www.iosh.co.uk/in...iew&forum=1&thread=12976
