Thinks: all that access to useful information, news, music, video, work resources forum chat, fallings out, disagreements and 'lively debate' - we should pause to appreciate the wonder of this technology, which one guy effectively gifted to the World. Where would we all be without t'internet !

Posted By sagalout I remember pigeons before they became a health hazard if they were allowed to roost, I remember sending a hand written note to the typing pool and waiting two days to get it back, then entrusting it to HM Post Office to be sent across the world usually by ship and then eventually getting a reply about 4 weeks later, but I am according to some an old age pensioner with alcoholic tendencies.
This technoclogy has improved our ability to communicate but sometimes takes away the need to carefully consider what we wish to communicate. (and I should know!) The real wonder for me is that it enables me to see and talk to almost anywhere in the world for nothing more than the cost of a monthly sub.
Thanks to whoever that man was.
