Hi all,
I would like to ask if there is any standard of spacing between sprinkler system heads.

Posted By shaun mckeever The simple answer to your question Amjad is yes.
Sprinkler systems are divided into several hazard categories depending on the risk. I don't have the figures to hand but the references for his would be the LPC (Loss Prevention Council)Rules or British Standard 5306 Part 2.

Posted By David Bannister Amjad, Shaun is correct. The actual spacing depends upon the fire hazard, the design of the installation, the design of the premises and any internal features. Additionally, the water supply and pipework are both designed to provide sufficient water on a fire at any point in the system.
The property insurers will be able to provide advice that is specific to your own particular situation.

Ashley, thank you for asking, really there is no problem, just I have been asked this question in an interview (Failed to answer). So I did ask here to know if there is specific figure.
I knew that there is BS covering sprinkler system also there is NFPA 13 (US standard covering sprinkler) but I have no access to them.
Once Again Many thanks for you
Amjad
