Posted By Exdeeps Hi, I sat the cert on 10th July and recieved the results on the 15th Sept. The notification letter states that the certificate will be issued in "approximately two months". Now waiting with bated breath!(Got a credit by the way)

Posted By Teresa Budworth National Certificate results are sent out a maximum of 10 weeks from the date of the examination. Qualification Parchments for all of NEBOSH's qualifications are sent out within 8 weeks of the results letter. There was a delay this summer affecting the National Diploma Parchments only. This was caused by a change in the name and logo of one of the three statutory accrediting bodies. Basically, if we change the design of a parchment it needs to be re-approved by the Qualification and Curriculum Authority, even if they have required us to make that change. The approval for National Diploma took a while to come through, probably because QCA would be re-approving all of the other accredited awarding body and examination board's certificate and parchment designs at the same time, and this was followed by a hold up at the specialist security printers who produce our Diploma Parchments, essentially for the same reason. Unless your colleague was taking the National Diploma, there should not have been any delay in receipt of his parchment, and all other parchments have been dispatched to above timescales. The only other explanation for a delay is that a number of Certificate Course providers request that Parchments are supplied to them rather than the Candidate so that they can arrange a presentation event.
