Posted By Hazel Harvey Brenda, IOSH membership categories are aligned to the national standards in health and safety. So the level 3 standards which underpin Technician Membership are roughly equivalent to an 'A' level, whilst the level 4 standards are roughly equivalent to degree level. Level 4 standards underpin level 6 Diplomas (NEBOSH and BSC) and have been developed by IOSH for use in the HE sector to underpin degrees. You can find education frameworks on the QCA web-site if you need more in depth information. Hazel Harvey Director of Professional Affairs
