Posted By oneill Hi all Just wondering if anyone has a nice welding risk assessment, i'm currently doing one up for a colleague of mine, now i have everything included, arc eye, uv burns, manual handling etc, just want to see how to present it nicely, thanks in advance.

Posted By Alan Woodage Sorry I haven't got a nice pretty format for you but what type of welding may help others to provide accuaruate info. for example, MIG or TIG or gas purge welding have you assessed the inert gas / removal of oxygen, especially if in confined space, large pipe / tanks or purge welding with large quantities. Metal particulate fume is another issue. Welding can be a mass of different issues beyond the obvious. glad to help if you can be a little more specific.
