We are in the process of purchasing some machinery from a US manfacturer, the equipment is a prover and fryer system (for doughnuts), we have a draft declaration from the appointed UK agent who has been appointed to CE mark the machine and issue the declaration, it has all the usual directive's and EN standards quoted but I have queried that as the fryer is powered by gas should there not be a gas standard quoted on the declaration i.e. Gas safety (Installation and Use) Regs 1998 etc, they don't believe there should but I'm unsure and can't seem to find anyone who can agree or disagree.
