If fire safety signs are required to have a pictogram, why is it I reguarly see "fire door keep shut" in text only format?
The musings of an inquisitive mind!
Thanks Darren

Yes one of those little quiks, but in a pictogram how do you show?
"Fire Door Keep closed" / "Fire Door Leep locked" / "Automatic Fire Door Keep Clear" or "Push Bar to Open" etc.
The "moving person" has been standarised across europe, based on the German Din standard with a concession for the the British Standard version of the "moving person"
Perhaps in time there will be further pictograms to follow to meet the gap, in the meantime we will have to make do with words.
Best wishes signing out!
