Posted By Baskaran Kumarasamy Dear All, We need to provide a new storage facility for our flammable containers bulk storage. As we all know, flammable liquids should be adequately bunded. We have underground catchment pit which can takes care of the total volume of the flammable substances stored at site. However the underground storage pit is 20m away from the flammable storage area and we are thinking of providing gutters with slope to route any spillages to the underground tanks. I want to check whether such a arrangement is acceptable. Any views are welcome. Thanks, Baskaran

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Is it not practicable to locate your new store closer to the underground tanks? Paul

Posted By Baskaran Kumarasamy Thanks Paul for your attention. Unfortunately it is not possible to relocate flammable storage exactly above the underground pits for various reasons. But we have good slope towards this pit. Will it be a concern? Thanks, Baskaran
