Posted By NeilM Poyznts-Powell Hello All, I wonder if anyone out there could help. I am currently in my second year of the MSc 'Safety and Risk Management' at Strathclyde University. However, I am wishing to proceed to PhD level which is currently not avaialble through them. Does anyone know of a university that could provide a PhD in this area? Thanking you in anticipation. Regards, Neil

Posted By Kieran J Duignan Neil The pre-selection stage of a Ph D requires 'scoping' your field and method of enquiry and provides a basis for interesting a good supervisor. As a chartered psychologist and chartered safety/health practitioner, I assessed logbooks of candidates for occupational psychology chartership who were supervised by some leading specialists in safety risk management. I would be pleased to nominate several possible folk you could approach if you would specify the questions and methods of enquiry that most interest you.
