Posted By energy saver Could someone please settle an argument (with a twix wager at the 3.30 coffee break), if someone was managing Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality for a company, would he or she be classed as a QUENSH Manager or HSEQ Manager or is it six and two threes?

Posted By Robert K Lewis I prefer six of one and half a dozen of the other personally!!!:-) Can I add SHEQ to the list just to give more choice? I have seen all of them used with equal aplomb. Still do not know the difference Bob

Posted By Ian Blenkharn It's always nice to have a posh title, a reserved parking space, and your name on the office door, but is it really that imnportant to get hung up about a title Call me Sir, or just the teaboy if you want, as long as I get the rate for the job!

Posted By sagalout Whatever, am I bovvered? 2x3=6 6/3=2 I would always choose the one that attracts the biggest salary! I always have a problem with job titles having any meaning outside the organisation that uses them. But then I might just be a little biased having once held down the ultimate position of senior senior supervisor i/c. Facilites, design and construction.

Posted By Alan Woodage Looks Like it's one finger each!! I guess it's not that important, It just may be construde that the company places more importance on those letters placed at the start of the title. therefore I would preffer SHEQ manager over QUENSH.

Posted By Jonathan Breeze The problem with QUENSH is that the dictionary describes it as "...to extinguish, stifle or suppress..." Not really terms you want to be associated with if you're involved in health & safety!
