Posted By Roy Scott2 Anyone got a simple formula or other information regarding what size a workplace canteen should be. I know it should be of 'reasonable size' reflective of the workforce size. is there any guidelines on sqft per head ? roy

Posted By Ken Taylor There are some minimum design standards ranging from 1 to 1.2 square metres per person overall but room layouts, furniture, escape routes, etc will all be factors to consider. Personally, I would like to see at least 2 sq m pp.
