How does a company arrive at the amount it gives for corrective lenses etc when an operator requires glasses for working on DSE?

As a company we buy into the voucher system run by specsavers and it only costs us £17.
For us its a very cost effective way to meet our obligation and most people seem happy with it especially as our depots are very wide spread.
There are other options available but this was the most suitable for us.

It is normally based on the basic range of frames with the cheapest standard lens suitable for the prescription.
