Posted By Ian Clay1 Could anyone point me in the right direction please? What would be the maximum number of fire exits per person in a public building. In this case a church hall. Any help or where to look for a definitive answer would be most welcome. Ian

Posted By Ashley Wood Approved document B advises the size of fire exits and the number of persons per minute that can use them. What does your licence say regarding the maximum number of persons permitted to use the hall? When doing your assessment remove the widest door from your calculations and see if the others can cope with the volume on your license.
