Posted By Vernon Kay Hello, We are thinking of introducing a work uniform for all staff in our organisation, which would be provided to staff free of charge. I am seeking advice more on the discriminatory possibilities of staff feeling they have to wear the uniform. We are wanting to impose that the guys wear trouser suits, and the women wear skirt suits. I am seeking advice on what legal/human rights obligations we have with regards to uniforms and what would happen if a woman refused to wear a skirt (or indeed a man wanted to!).
