Posted By Dave McIness If you are acting as PS, you will know how much time is involved, for a given project duration, then simply multiply it by your charge out rate, add expenses etc and hey presto! If you are a client, (but given your email address I guess you are a safety consultant), get 2 or three quotes and compare not only cost, but the time and resources being allocated. Also make sure they are competent and experienced in both PS work and the type of work being carried out for the project in question. As for fee scales - they do not work and are always inaccurate!

Posted By Lee Mac Shaun, The Association for Poject Safety have the following links for fees: http://www.associationfo...safety.co.uk/aclien1.jpg http://www.associationfo...safety.co.uk/aclien2.jpg Although to be entirely honest it all depends on the type of service on offer, who it is being offered to and what location. However, I hope these links give you a rough idea. Lee

Posted By Vernon Kay Hi, I usually charge for my services per hour, my current rate is £120 per hour. Additional expenses are then placed on top of this fee.
