Posted By srd Having passed my NEBOSH Nat. Gen. Cert. I was going to take the upgrade route to the NEBOSH Fire and Risk Cert. Is there a better alternative to this that would lead to membership of a 'fire' organisation, which I think would look better on my CV? Stephen.

Posted By srd Many thanks Ashley. Is the IFE the only one, or just the main one, as I seem to recall a AF? something or other? Stephen.

Posted By Ashley Wood The IFE is recognised internationally as the best. Here in the UK its the first thing that you will be asked when you apply for a fire engineering type job, are you a member of the IFE and at what grade. Anybody who is anybody joins the IFE in the fire profession.
