Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to find a solution for the decanting of chemicals from a drum (30kg) into a chemical bath where it is used. In the long term this will be sorted by redesigning the entire area and process, but for the immediate future i am trying to introduce an alternative.
I'm considering introducing an attachable 'pump' type mechanism which could dispense the chemical without having to lift the drum at all and so that it will be a controlled transfer to the chemical bath.
Does anyone know of anywhere i could source such a device or any suggestions that you guys may have came across before?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Gavin

Look in the usual places - Arco, Buck&Hickman to name just 2.
Dependant upon the aggresiveness of the chemical will determine if there is an item readily available on the market.
However by your brief description the sort of item you are looking for could be as simple as a hand operated stick pump.

Try a company called LUTZ. They produce pumps that will transfer just about anything. We have a large electroplating facility and make use of their equipment all the time.
