Posted By Lee Mac Hi All,
The company I currently work for, which is a medium sized construction co., is currently considering implementing ISO 9001.
We have the Safe-T-Cert and have found it to be beneficial.
However, I am looking for the Pros & Cons of ISOs specifically.
All assistance greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Liam

Pro's: You will find it slightly beneficial when completing any PQQ's for new works.
Lots of others as well.
Cons: The audit can be time consuming and a real pain
Cost
Lot of work in the early stages.
Possibly will make you look at 14001; more cost and audits.
I would be honest and say tongue in cheek that you will be required to be 9001 more and more by developers and clients alike, so maybe it will be worthwhile in the longer term.
