Posted By Tracey C would like some feed back & thoughts on the following situation.
One of our sites (student accommodation) has gas boilers installed, they have been regularly serviced and CP12 certified. We have contracted a new company to carry out our service. They carried out there first inspection on Monday this week 20th, they were not happy with the standard of the boilers, flueing and the ventilation, they then requested that an second opinion be sort.
The inspector condemned 3 boilers. All necessary actions have been implemented to resolve this issue.
My question is, the inspector is submitting a RIDOR form, do we also have to submit our own F2508 & F2508G2?

What grounds is the inspector submitting the report to RIDDOR? Is it because he thinks it have caused an explosion or something? Then it is down to him to do so, because he has made these findings and only if he relays them to you via a written report then may have to complete a RIDDOR report upon your own findings of the issue.

Posted By Tracey C the inspector reported the presents of CO at 18ppm rising to 33ppm, so a leakage.
Thank you for your reply, this is in line with the guidance I was given.
And my mistake should read RIDDOR?
