What does SNR stand for?

Hi All,
Want to confirm what SNR stands for, is it Signal to Noise Ratio or is it Single Number Rating?

I've always known it as signal-noise-ratio.

Both are correct,

In hearing conversation it is Single Number Rating & in electronics including noise measurement it is signal-noise ratio.
