Asked my boss this morning and got positive reply. It'll be my first big IOSH event and I am looking forward to meeting some of the people from this forum. (maybe it's too much enthusiasm)

Who else is going and based on previous visits has anyone got any tips etc ?

I'd be pleased to meet up with everyone but my boss thinks the delegate fees are a tad extortionate.

I will be there, probably looking for chocolate fountains (I prefer plain choc, please).

Merv - what wine with choc-dipped strawberries? Sauternes?

I will be there both days ... should we all wear red roses or something to identify ourselves?

Hopefully going and staying over. Went last year two good days. If it's your first time it will be a bit bewildering last year was both for me. Too much to take in in one go so get as much paperwork as you can and read at your leisure, more rewarding as the sessions can drone on a bit if the PA is not quite right. Just one warning beware of salesmen with flash stands. Enjoy (I do).

Surely without the salesmen with flash stands there wouldnt be an expo, and you wouldnt get 2 days off from the job for a souped up jolly, I mean professional exchange and debate!
