I'm looking for a piece of lifting equipment/accessory that will fit onto a winch that would be suitable for lifting rounded stones weighing up to 50kg (the type you would find at the seaside but bigger.
Can anyone help?

What about some sort of rigging/netting, or alternatively the large bulk bags that sand and aggregate are delivered in. Normally bulk bags are seen in the 1 cubic metre size, but smaller (and bigger) sizes are available.

For lifting the stones themselves I would suggest a "scissor grab"
Positioned over the stone, lifting the grab automatically closes the jaws on the stone. Step well back, raise and lower into Big Bag. Or the back of a lorry. Taking the weight off allows the jaws to loosen and they can be "rattled off" by the operator.
Stone masons use them all the time. So did the ancient Greeks. I remember it well.

PS. I've found a winch and jib at a price the owner of the company is willing to pay (not a lot)but I'm not too sure about the company it we are buying it off. If anyone has bought one recently please would you forward details.
