Please could someone clarify the training and licensing requirements for engineers (not from a utility company)who conduct maintenance on cctv cameras in town centres and off highways. I've got myself slightly confused over the requirements of NRSWA and would sincerely appreciate some clarification and guidance.

I think you will find that the only applicable NRSWA training requirement will be the signing and guarding module. At least one member of each crew will need to hold the qualification.

Your work is not much different to say that of BT - you do not need to be excavating the public highway to be classed as working.

Other training requirements will depend on the actual access methods you are using.
