Posted By Sharon Im looking for some pictures/photos of serious hand injuries caused by not wearing gloves. I am after "shock" type pictures/photos. I have looked on the trauma site, nothing of any use there. Anyone help?

Posted By Paul Daniell I have a short PowerPoint presentation on hand injuries that has all the necessary SHOCK photos that you are looking for...amputations, de-boneing due to jewellery, chemical burns, oil contamination etc. I have to say that these images are not pleasant and have to be used carefully in the context of reinforcing an important safety message and not just as a shock tactic. Happy to share on that basis.

Posted By Mark H Bryan at safeteng.net operates a comprehensive library full various shcker photos, alerts, videos and presentations. It is a pay site but a very reasonable cost around 25US per year. He also does a free newsletter and incident alert. I have acces and have found both the site and Bryan very useful
