Posted By Tim Corbett Would it be considered correct that an Operative who worked with the associated materials in this role, would have to have regular health monitoring?

Posted By Adrian Watson A person working with pesticides should generally be undergoing regular health surveillance. The type of health surveillance will depend on the pesticides being used.

Posted By Andrew Neil The COSHH assessment of the pesticides being used should indicate if health surveillance is required.Generally, products like synthetic pyrethroids will not usually require health surveillance, however pesticides such as carbamates and organophosphates will as they have identifiable ill- health effects which are reasonably easily detected.
