Posted By Dave Stevenson Hi I've just started a role managing Health and Safety and Business Continuity Management in 15 Countries. Can anyone recommend some good international reference sources? I'm implementing OHSAS 18001 for the H&S Management System, but I would like to understand the key legislative differences in the following countries: - USA - Spain - Finland - China - Denmark - Sweden - Germany - Italy - India - Hong Kong - France - Benelux - Singapore - Switzerland I'm also very keen to network with anyone else operating in these countries. Look forward to hearing from you and happy New Year. Dave

Posted By Richard Paul-Jones The new edition of the Ferret & Hughes NEBOSH Certificate text book (available from HSE books, HMSO and other bookshops) has a section on International H&S. From memory it features dodgy foreign scafolding - but has lots more as well, probably. If you want an ISBN no or some more considered comments email me on rpj@jones.co.uk

Posted By Ian Waldram There are a wealth of links from the Specialist Group/International webpage, specifically compiled to gave those in your position a helpful start. Also International SG exists partly to link IOSH members, and others, facing such challenges.
