I see these examples of very bad practice being circulated every now and then. I find them helpful in communicating the safety message. However they often (always?) appear to come from countries other than the UK. Do we have awards for "absolute shockers" in this country too?

More examples from the UK, oh yes indeed. I will happily forward my photos of a window cleaner washing the outside windows of a HSC office (not sure which office, but you can clearly see the HSC logo on a wall mounted plaque).

The guy could have fallen from a significant height, sustaining serious injuries or even death. Wonder what competency checks the HSC/building owner undertook, also who captured the photo...lol
