I work for an organisation that provides support to the public sector and we are thinking of going down the route of an integrated management system.
At this present moment in time, we have nothing in place in this regard, so will be starting from scratch. Whilst I don't doubt that this is going to be a long and daunting road, I am seeking some help and guidance if possible.
Does anyone have some form of template/templates that can be adapted to what is a fairly low risk operation.
At the same time are there any useful on-line resources that provide useful guidance on the matter.

An integrated management system should be (theoretically) a more sensible approach at this point as you will be creating and documenting systems rather than trying to tie together sprawling systems.
How you go about it depends on your company, the way it wishes to operate it's systems and which systems you are intending to implement and integrate.
If you are going down the road of certification I'd recommend buying copies of the appropriate standards and starting by carrying out a gap analysis against the stated requirements within the standard.
