Posted By Phillipe Hi
The information that had to be placed upon signage for Scotland last year when the ban came in was quite specific. Can anyone offer any guidance on the wording on signs for the new ban which as you lnow comes into force in July of this year?
The wording in Scotland was:
"NO SMOKING - these are no smoking premises. It is an offence to smoke or knowlingly to permit smoking in these premises. If you observe someone smoking here, a complaint may be made to ..................."

Posted By andrew morris Hi,
apparently the Department of Health/NHS is actually sending the signage out to each and every business for free! but then their website says "order" so have a look here:

Posted By Phillipe Thanks for that. No wonder the NHS is in crisis if they are paying for stationery for the entire UK...

Posted By Alan Hoskins The wording in Wales is:
"It is against the law to smoke in these premises"
Bilingual of course...
The signs can (apparently) be 'ordered' from the Website and there does not appear to be any charge for these in Wales.
