Posted By mike.mcdonnell Specsavers supplied mine, employer paid as i have to wear glasses ordinarily and go into areas wear eye protection is required, therefore my employer paid for them, its down to the risk assessment process.

Posted By MT Arco certainly used to do prescription safety glasses, although I'm not sure about goggles. They were the Uvex brand. You could take your prescription to Arco, and they would have Uvex make them for you.

Posted By Clare Gabriel Where do you live? We use Scrivens who have good coverage across the UK. Of course the employer has to pay!!! Read the PPE Regs Regulation 4 and look at the HSWA Section 9!!!!
