One of our First Aiders has told me that we cannot keep plasters in the boxes any more, due to possible allergic reactions. Is this correct, or is she exaggerating advice from a training session? Anyone with clear guidance?

posted on 16 October 2006, but brought to the top only this week. The thread contains a response from St John Ambulance.

Put it this way, there is no H&S legislation that "bans" first aid plasters in first aid boxes at work.
