Posted By rks If possible can people stop putting threads in about top gear and Jeremy Clarkson.
It seems that they are being made into some kind of iconic figures and there every move is being scrutinised. At the end of the day it is a TV show and he will say and do things to put on a "cool" act.
On last nights show with the rocket they had all the correct PPE on and everything they do is done safe as possible.
Lets move onto something else.

Posted By TBC Oh no! I missed the show - did they manage to up the carbon footprint of the BBC and shoot everybodies TV licence money into the air? Glad they did it safely though - pity it didn't land on them on the way down.

Posted By Phil D Without meaning to sound offensive, why do you feel you have the right to tell people what they should or should not talk about? If you don't like it, then look at a different thread. No one is making you read the posts. I don't need to elaborate, but this is the kind of pointless thread that serves no purpose. The very fact that people, fellow professionals, do post about the show, is because it has relevant issues to safety, and they/we want to share opinions and information. Isn't that the whole point of a forum? And just one last point. You want to stop threads on top gear, and you just created this one? End of rant.

Posted By rks With all due respect someone put thread on about what James May had done to his hair yesterday.
The point I am making is that there are more serious issues out there than some guy on the T.V. who talks about cars having his every move scrutinised.
And yes i have started a thread but I am hoping it will be the last.

Posted By Descarte Phil a valid point in principle, however they have deleted the topic about top gear hair styles, wasnt really safety related :-)

Thread locked until we have agreed what to do with it.
